| Stephen
has recorded many albums featuring his unique
style of didj playing, and is recognized in
world music realms as a didgeridoo player of
rare talent and interpretation. He is also a
primary star in the organic electronica movement,
which has sprung from the pioneering work of
artists such as Jon Hassell, Brian Eno and Steve
Roach. He has toured extensively with Trance
Mission and with vocalist Eda Maxym throughout
Europe, Asia and the Americas.
His
first solo album, LANDING, is already considered
a classic, and his FAMILY TREE compilation traces
his musical journey as key man in bands such
as Trance Mission, Beast Of Paradise and Lights
in a Fat City, as well as solo outings. 1999
marked his first appearance on the seminal MEGADRUMS
Tour, and 2001 brings him to Joshua Tree, California,
for the internationally acclaimed Didgeridoo
Festival.
Stephen
is the third didj recording artist to grace
our Wall of Fame with his handprint. We use
a toothbrush and acrylic paint to splatter around
the hand, then the person signs their name and
the date inside of the outlined area. We'll
keep you posted as the wall expands with additional
handprints.
Stay
tuned for upcoming in-store performances with
